Multiplex PCR refers to a method where multiple pairs of primers are used in a single PCR reaction to simultaneously amplify several genes. The procedure is identical to standard PCR, but it allows for the simultaneous detection of multiple DNA fragments, making it fast and particularly well-suited for multiplex gene analysis of precious, limited-sample materials. 
This product is a 2X multiplex PCR master mix formulated with a hot-start enzyme that enables rapid amplification, along with a buffer system designed to enhance the specificity of primer annealing. During experiments, all you need to do is add your reaction template, primers, and sterile water—plus, the flexible volume range allows for greater design versatility while significantly cutting down on hands-on preparation time. At the same time, it delivers high amplification specificity and sensitivity, ensuring stable and efficient performance under standard reaction conditions for most multiplex PCR assays. Compared to other similar products on the market, this formulation excels in achieving highly specific, unbiased PCR amplification within a short timeframe, effectively minimizing both non-specific amplification and unwanted primer dimers—a common issue when using multiple primers simultaneously. Testing has confirmed that this reagent can successfully support Multiplex PCR reactions involving the simultaneous addition of over 200 primer pairs.
